About Me.
Welcome to Benavides Consulting. I am here to help.
When I started my career as a public school teacher, I thought that I had found my forever job. I fully intended to work in a classroom for the rest of my life. As I continued working, I kept encountering barriers to real change in schools. I continued educating myself to better understand why these problems exist and how we can change them. Having lived across the United States (Michigan, Indiana, Virginia, Colorado, and Washington) and in Costa Rica, I bring a unique perspective to my work. As a consultant, a content creator, and curriculum writer, I want to use my education, experiences, and perspective to bring lasting change to systems.
